The seven points at a glance
| # | What to check | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Whether the game is there | Search or filter by studio | New titles often arrive untagged |
| 2 | RTP | The game’s info panel | The studio may ship several versions |
| 3 | Volatility and max win | Info panel, studio release | Sets the swings to expect |
| 4 | How it plays | Demo | You see the features without a stake |
| 5 | Bonus buy price | The game menu | With a bonus, the 2.7 bet limit covers it too |
| 6 | Wagering contribution | Bonus terms, 2.14 and 2.15 | Not every game counts |
| 7 | Budget and time | You | Novelty eats money and time faster |
The order is deliberate. The first four points are about what you get, the last three about what it may cost. If a point has no answer, that is information too: better to wait than to start blind.
1. Search by name or studio
It seems obvious that a new game will sit on the ‘New Games’ shelf. According to our 11 October 2026 check, that is not how it works on Dukat.bet. Of the six games in our game news, only Johnny vs Chicken got that tag. Bazaar Monkey, Minotaur ReBurn, Thor's Rage 2, Dead Man's Crew and Witchcraft Riches carry no tag at all, not even ‘Slots’, so they do not show up in the slots filter either.
In practice that leaves two routes: type the game’s name into search, or filter by maker. The six titles come from four studios (BGaming, Endorphina, Red Tiger, Slotmill). Our observation on lobby categories covers the routes and the state of the tags in more detail.
2–3. Info panel figures, not the marketing copy
Open the game and look for the ‘i’ or the menu icon. The info panel describes the version actually running, so the RTP shown there is what counts, not the studio release. The two usually match, but not always. Slotmill offers Dead Man's Crew in two versions (96.07% and 94.09%), and from outside you cannot see which one the casino has switched on.
Check the maximum win here too. For Thor's Rage 2 the studio gives 20,000x, for Minotaur ReBurn 4,500x. If the info panel shows a different cap, that one applies to the version the casino runs. Many games do not show volatility in the panel; then the studio rating remains your reference point, along with the differences between studios. Our guide to reading release notes covers those in detail.
4. Demo: the features without a stake
All six games from our game news were available with a demo in the lobby on 11 October 2026. It is the cheapest way to understand the mechanics. Take Minotaur ReBurn: the bull wild lands on one of the middle three reels, expands, and respins follow until the next win. Meanwhile the multiplier creeps up by one with every empty round, with no upper limit. That is hard to picture from a description, but a few demo rounds make it clear at once.
A demo is no good for reading the game’s ‘form’. Every round is independent, and a demo result says nothing about what comes with real stakes. Use it to find out whether you like the pace and understand the features.
Live tables have no demo. You can learn the rules of Privé Lounge Blackjack or Arcade Roulette only from the description and at the table.
5. Bought bonus rounds and the 5 EUR limit
If the game lets you buy the bonus round, check its price as a multiple of the stake. For Johnny vs Chicken, BGaming lists 75x, 150x and 300x for the three levels.
With your own money this is simple maths. With bonus money, though, point 2.7 also comes in: the maximum bet during wagering is generally 5 EUR, and a bought bonus round counts towards it. As a calculation: the 75x buy fits a base stake of about 0.066 EUR at most, the level twice as expensive about 0.033 EUR, and the priciest about 0.016 EUR. If the game does not allow a stake that low, the buy is effectively off the table with a bonus.
6. Does the game count towards wagering
Point 2.14 separates three groups. On slots the stake generally counts in full, 100%; on roulette, video poker and other table games it does not count at all (0%); and with live dealer games the question of contribution does not even arise, because they fall outside wagering. So Arcade Roulette will not move your wagering forward with bonus money, however novel its claw ball selection.
Point 2.15 gives a separate list of excluded slots, ending with the statement that all jackpot slots are excluded. With a new game this is worth thinking through. The Bazaar Monkey Hold and Win round pays fixed prizes called jackpots, the largest being the Ruby Jackpot at 1,000x. Whether Dukat.bet treats it as a jackpot slot under 2.15 is not clear from the wording of the terms. If you want to play it with a bonus, clarify this first. Whether these points changed in October is covered in our terms comparison.
7. Budget and time limit before the first real rounds
A new game sparks curiosity, and curiosity easily stretches a session. So set your budget before you open the game, not during play.
Illustrative example (not Dukat.bet parameters): 20 EUR spent at 0.20 EUR per spin buys you 100 spins. On a high or very high volatility game such as Dead Man's Crew, those 100 spins can easily run out without the bonus round arriving even once. That is not a fault; it is what volatility means.
The same goes for time. Pick a moment to stop and stick to it, even if the ‘next’ feature seemed just around the corner. If you notice that new games make you play more than you planned, see what we write about responsible gaming.
